J & B Sewing Machine Co Ltd, the leading Industrial sewing machine distributor in the UK was established in 1961 by Bruce and Joan Miller. The company was founded upon the ethos of customer satisfaction and J & B Sewing Machine Co has always been proud of the level of service and commitment they offer the sewing, textile and garment printing trades throughout the world.
From humble beginnings in a single small lock-up shop to our large modern premises at Newport in the UK, our story has been one of continuous growth and success.
For more than fifty years, J & B has offered the highest level of technical support and specialist knowledge of industrial sewing machines and making up equipment to ensure that our customers are suitably equipped for their production requirements.
Major expansions took place in 1988 with the takeover of our rivals SMEACO and in 2001 with the purchase of the business of Yamato UK. These two strategic decisions enhanced J & B’s abilities to offer an ever widening range of equipment to our customers.
Whether we are supplying a single sewing machine or a complete turnkey project, everyone at J & B Sewing Machinery is 100% committed to customer satisfaction. J & B Sewing Machines are the sole distributor of Brother, Typical and Yamato Industrial Sewing Machines in the UK. We stock and supply all makes of industrial machines (both new and second hand) to suit your requirements. We are also able to offer generous part exchange allowances against new and second hand machinery. To help us maintain our vast stocks, we will be happy to quote for any surplus equipment you may wish to dispose of. Our fast expanding garment printer division supplies AnaJet and Brother direct to garment printers throughout the UK and Ireland.
