Faux fur is a knitted base with a dense pile, tease the pile fibres apart to make sewing and cutting easier. Sew with stretch needle and use a short, narrow zigzag stitch.

Faux Suede look's very realistic and is much easier to launder and keep clean than real suede. Place all pattern pieces in the same direction for cutting. Use a microtex needle and 2.5mm stitch length on a straight stitch.
