This is where Scrappy Bear comes in. He is made from an assortment of your much loved fabric scraps. So when he is sat by your sewing machine you'll remember all the lovely things you have previously created. He can be made from almost any material. Be inspired to create your own bespoke, unique Scrappy Bear!"

Requirements List

A Bear making kit containing interfacing, stuffing,felt, embroidery thread for the nose and one pair of safety eyes is available to purchase from the tutor on the day £10.00 cash.

Attendees to bring;

1. Sewing Machine

2. Scissors (large, small and pinking shears if possible)

3. Selection of pins and clips

4. Hand sewing needles

5. Various threads

6. Scrappy materials of your own choice (tutor will bring in a bag of scraps if anyone is short)

7. Seam ripper

8. Awl (not essiential)

9. Chopstick or something similar to aid stuffing

10. Heat erasable pen

11. 4 Buttons (approx 20-25mm in diameter with 2 or 4 holes, no shank buttons)

12. Large doll needle

13. A piece of ribbon to go around the bear's neck

We don’t want anyone to miss out and understand that life happens.Our courses are non refunable from the time of booking. This is due to the cost of materials, habedashery and booking our tutors in advance. However we understand that life happens and we do not wish for anyone to miss out. Therefore as long as we have 24 hours notice, we will offer you the opportunity to book onto any course with like for like value, within 12 months
