Aurifil Thread 100% Cotton
Aurifil 50wt thread boasts strength and fineness, resulting in exceptionally flat and crisp seams. Its versatility shines through in various applications such as piecing, subtle quilting, topstitching, English Paper Piecing, Needle Turn Appliqué, Bobbin, and Machine Lace. Additionally, it excels in Machine Appliqué (Straight Stitch, ZigZag, Blind Hem, and Blanket Stitch), Machine Embroidery, Dense Machine Quilting, Subtle Machine and Longarm Quilting, Basting, Whole Cloth and Micro Quilting, as well as Dense Background Designs.
The large spools come with an impressive 1300m (1422yds) of thread. For optimal performance, we recommend using size 70/11 or 80/12 machine needles, typically Microtex, Quilting, or Universal needles.
