Originally from Germany and operating in the UK for nearly three decades, brothers David and Kevin Read founded Horn Furniture UK after leaving their father's business, JJ + J Read Sewing Machine Co Ltd, located on Shirley Road in Southampton. Horn Furniture UK maintains a close relationship with J & B Sewing Machines, as Kevin and David are siblings to Angela, the owner of J & B Sewing Machines.
