This course is designed to introduce you to the world of Patchwork & Quilting. You will also try your hand at applique which is a lovely decorative technique.

Sewing machine

1/4 inch patchwork foot

Walking Foot

Lightweight cotton piecing thread

50 weight cotton quilting thread

Rotary cutter and mat- if you do not have these items you can loan ours.

Front of Cushion

Colour 1 - 1/4m of 100% cotton fabric (centre square and border)

Colour 2 - 1/4m of 100% cotton fabric (side rectangles)

Colour 3 - 1/4m of 100% cotton fabric (small squares and triangles)

Piece of wadding 50cm x 50cm

Back of Cushion

1/2m 100% cotton fabric to match one of the fabric colours on the front

30cm zip

2m piping (optional)
