Children's Vehicle Quilt

Sewing course with Trease Lane, a fantastic City and Guilds tutor. On this course you will learn the art of applique and end up with a fantastic quilt by the end of the two days and is a great way to use up all of your scraps!

Vehicle Quilt Requirements

2 Metres Background fabric

¼ Metre Black and White for chequered board strips

1 Metre first border

3 x Fat ¼ for the flying geese border

¾ Metre for Flying geese border

1 ½ Metres wadding

1 ½ Metres backing extra wide

2 Metres heat and bond lite or bonda web

A selection of fat ¼ for the vehicles or scrapes that you have

Scissors

Pencil or pen

Cutting mat

Ruler

Rotary cutter

Sewing machine

Threads of your choice for blanket stitch

Applique mat if you have one

If you would like to cut your background panels at home they need to be
