Daisy Folding Handbag – Pattern Description
Overview
The Daisy Folding Handbag is a quick and enjoyable sewing project, perfect for using up
small amounts of fabric from your stash. Despite its compact folding design, the bag features
a generous interior patch pocket and a small zipped pocket on the back, ideal for keeping
essentials such as keys, lipstick, or a credit card close to hand.
Like all of our bag patterns, Daisy is highly customisable. You can easily personalise your
bag by choosing different handle styles, pocket options, or varying interfacing weights to
achieve a softer or more structured finish. This makes each Daisy Folding Handbag truly
unique.

Materials Needed
* ½ metre outer fabric (e.g. light canvas, linen, cotton, or light denim)
* ½ metre cotton lining fabric
* ½ metre interfacing (e.g. H640 or HeatnBond)
* Zip on a roll – approximately 18"
* 1 x 5" zip
* 2 magnetic snaps or 2 buttons of your choice
* Upholstery thread or embroidery floss
* Quilter’s tape
* 2 leather handles of your choice
* Matching sewing threads (Aurifil 50wt used in the sample)
