Trapunto, from the italian for "to quilt" is a method of quilting that is also called "stuffed technque" A puffy, decorative feature, trapunto utilizes at least two layers, the underside of which is slit and padded, producing a raised surface on the cushion or quilt.

Requirements list;

Half metre of plain fabric

High loft wadding 20" x 20" (polyester)

Standard quilt wadding 20" x 20"

Backing fabric 20" x 20" (this will be inside the cushion so it will not be seen)

Thread to match fabric

Dissolvable thread

Sewing machine

Open toe foot

Embroidery/free motion foot

Maximum of 8 places on the course.
