Velvet Foot 1600P Series and HD9-767407010

The velvet foot only slightly touches the needle plate when the foot is lowered to obtain perfect sewing without bruising the speciality fabrics.

Angela Says:-

When cutting your fabric make sure all pieces in the same direction to avoid differences in the way the light catches the panels. Iron with care, using a piece of the same velvet as a pressing cloth as this will prevent the pile from flattening. Use a Schmetz standard point size 80/12 needle. If needing to use a zip, insert a concealed one as there will be no need to topstitch.
